You've got close, you've paid! That's the essence of paying with an NFC card. It looks like a regular card, but you no longer have to take it out of your wallet, insert it into the machine, enter the password and wait for the transaction to be approved. With NFC, everything is much faster, simpler and more convenient.
If you still don't use or are suspicious of this type of functionality, rest assured, it is completely safe and is already widespread here in Brazil. In 2020 alone, according to the Brazilian Association of Credit Card and Service Companies (Abecs), transactions made through NFC technology moved R$ 41 billion in the year, an increase of 470% compared to 2019.

What is NFC?
NFC stands for Near Field Communication. Through this technology, the transaction between the NFC card (device) and the reader (card machine) takes place.
This exchange of information happens automatically, as long as your parts are close, about 5cm apart. And it's all encrypted, so you don't have to worry about your safety during this moment.
This technology is used in countless other places to facilitate transactions. Anyone who takes public transport knows that there is a card (in São Paulo, for example, known as the Bilhete Único) that simply touches the turnstile to be released. This is also an NFC card!
Alymente's NFC card!
Alymente believes that bringing more ease and technology to those who use our features is essential. Today, not offering an NFC-enabled card means being stuck in the past.
Not to mention the need, brought on by the pandemic, to avoid touching and handling commonly used objects. With this kind of contactless payment, you don't have to worry about the coronavirus when paying for that delivery that just arrived at your house.
Ah, but here at Alymente, besides the card, which all employees can get, it is still possible to make contactless payment through QR Code in the accredited establishments, one more facility for you!
