Step by step to organise your work routine

When we are in the company in person, we have contact with other collaborators and the daily routine becomes more dynamic than when we are working at home.


To make sure your deliveries are delivered with quality and you continue to have a productive working day, you need to make some adaptations. See the tips we've separated:


1. Create your workspace

Set aside a bright and comfortable place in your home to become your official office. It should have a desk, so you can use the computer and take notes at the same time, as well as organise other possible physical materials.


2. Bet on ergonomic materials

A comfortable chair makes all the difference, but that's not all. You can also count on a mouse and keyboard, as well as a support for a notebook, if that is your case. Always have water on hand and all the equipment you will need.


3. Set your working hours

If your company isn't a stickler for time and attendance, you could end up overworking yourself and wearing yourself out. Therefore, a healthy work routine should contain a pre-defined amount of hours, lunch and quick 10-minute breaks in the morning and afternoon, the famous coffee break.


4. Bet on a task management tool

Choosing a good tool to help you organise what you have to do during the day can certainly make a difference in your productivity. Organise your week, your day and your month, so that you can fit everything you have to do within the hours available.


5. Let those who live with you know

If you live with other people, you may need to explain to them that you have to work during a set schedule and cannot leave for other reasons or be distracted by small things. A good idea is to create a sign to put on the door of the room where you work, letting them know that you are on office hours.


6. Pay attention to food

Eating well is essential to maintain productivity and focus. Try to organise your menus and always have something to eat at home, so you don't have to order something or go out and buy it. If possible, use your benefits for this!


7. Have compassion

Working in a team at a distance can be a challenge, but you have to be understanding and understand that accidents and emergencies happen. Patience is a daily exercise in the home office work routine.
